ABOUT

Christina Midollo is a fashion designer, costume designer, wardrobe stylist, and creative director based in New York. She grew up around classic and old-school motorcars, which inspire a lot of her designs for her brand Modelli di Ruolo, meaning “Role Models” in Italian (former brand name known as Karl Breizner/Estates).

Her 1980's-inspired RTW line, Modelli was founded in 2017. The collection officially launched in August 2021 with its curated capsule of unique men's and women's soft pastel colorblocked long-sleeve polos.

The designs are renowned for contrasting pastel knitwear to illustrate modern and classic themes relative to golf, tennis, varsity sports, and country. The signature knit garment represents a collar polo's timeless essence and versatility.

Christina tells a story through favorite nostalgic elements of fantasy and imagination of the past tied to the present. She also emphasizes her dreamworld through her architecture and scenic greenery experiences in The Hamptons.

Attracting international media attention, the collection was featured in British Vogue, the cover of Timid Magazine with The Summer That I Turned Pretty's star Sean Kaufman, Weekly Style, Flanelle Magazine, Viguor Magazine, NBC New York, and showcased at Spring Studios for NYFW 22 x Fashinnovation launch event.

Furthermore, the collection was displayed at a well-known showroom in Soho, New York in summer 2022, and has caught eyes of A-List celebrity stylists and costume designers that sparked great forthcoming project features.

Currently, Christina is collaborating with talented artists and athletes per Modelli and in the midst of further expanding her streetwear brand, 319 and concept studio in Brooklyn, New York.
